For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” (Ps. 84/11) The annals of Nirmal Jyoti loudly proclaim that the Lord has been her sun and shield; He has bestowed grace and glory throughout the days lived; and has not withheld any good thing from us despite our human errors!22 June 1998 was the day the Almighty chose to transplant the new offshoot of CMC Mission –

the youngest of Nirmala Province Thrissur - the Nirmal Jyoti Province, Bina. The young province was entrusted to the caring hands of Sr. Sarto the Provincial Superior and her Councillors. After the erection of the Province with the blessings of the Major Superiors of the Congregation, the collaboration and cooperation of the members and the sturdy spiritual and moral support of the Dioceses Nirmal Jyoti started functioning in the full swing in all the realms of life. With the strong support of the sisters of the province who were already well experienced with true vim and vigour in the missionary activities Sr. Sarto could boost the entire Nirmal Jyoti to remain loyal and faithful to the disciplined religious life holding true CMC charism and traditions. At the time of erection, the Province was blessed with 13 houses in 5 dioceses with 71 finally professed sisters and 19 juniors.Today Nirmal Jyoti is blessed with 109 finally professed sisters, 7 junior sisters and 13 young ones in the formation. The boundless goodness of the Most High has always blessed Nirmal Jyoti with shepherds after His heart. Be it the Councils of Sr. Sarto (1998 – 2003), Sr. Lissy Augustine (2003 – 2009), Sr. Deepa (2009 – 2015) or Sr. Annette (2015 – 2021) He has fed us with the finest wheat. Sensing the pulse of the daughters the respective councils have taken apt decisions to send the right persons for theological as well as secular studies. Canonical visits and friendly visits have given space and time for the sisters to open up and maintain a cordial relation in and out of the community. The daily hours of adoration are the source of strength and solace in all our problems. 13 hours’ Adoration is conducted once in a year in every convent. Keeping the spirit of charism faith formation of the people of God has been our prime purpose in all our endures.
